Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Fixed term position until 31 August 2026

Either 4 days (29 hours) per week or 5 days (36 hours) per week.

Term Time only (39 weeks per year)

Start date: January 2026

Points 8 to 9: £30,717pa to £31,158pa (Full time equivalent salary). 

(Actual salary pro-rata’d for the part time role: £21,256pa to £21,561pa

and actual salary pro-rata’d for the full time role: £26,387pa to £26,766pa)

 

We are seeking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be working within the Learning Support Team and will be expected to plan and develop strategies that provide support to individual students, small group interventions with students that have SLCN challenges and work within whole class settings across the curriculum. This is a fixed-term position until 31.08.2026. The successful candidate will receive excellent support from a hardworking and dedicated department.
