Head of Modern Foreign Languages with additional TLR 1/2: £11,860 per annum

Full time, one year fixed term position for maternity cover. 

We are looking for an accomplished teacher to lead the Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2024. We specialise in French and Spanish and teach students from years 7 to 13. We enjoy a very healthy uptake at GCSE, as well as at A Level.  

We are looking for a candidate who is able to teach both French and Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Spanish to A Level. You will lead a team of four teachers and continue to develop the broad and balanced curriculum offered by the team, especially in the transition to the new GCSE specification. You will over-see extra-curricular clubs, maintain the partnerships that are in place with schools abroad and organise trips and residential stays.

Start date: September 2024
