Head of English Faculty

Full time, permanent position

With effect from September 2026

Salary: Outer London Main/Upper Pay Range

With additional TLR 1/2: £13,012 per annum

The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a dynamic and aspirational Head of English to lead our strong and dedicated faculty, which embraces a breadth of styles and approaches. As a KS5 option, English is increasing in popularity every year.  We have high aspirations for all our students and they achieve impressive outcomes in both English Language and Literature at all levels. The faculty has an accomplished team, who are always happy to share their passion and expertise with the students, and with each other, igniting that spark of curiosity that all learners need to flourish.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an appropriately experienced candidate who is committed to inspiring and motivating people through exceptional leadership.
