Sixth Form Vision, Admin & Policies

Hollyfield Sixth Form has a reputation for excellent pastoral care that supports you as an individual in both academic and personal development. We offer a wide range of A Levels, provide a variety of extra curricular activities and encourage all students to achieve their full potential.

Our Sixth Form is made up of specially selected and trained members of staff.

Students are placed in forms that are no greater than 25 in Year 12. The Sixth Form tutor not only looks after their tutees welfare, but also takes an active role in overseeing student academix progress. Form tutors meet each student in their group regularly to discuss all aspects of Sixth Form.

At this time students and tutors agree personal targets that enable progress to be made.

At Hollyfield Sixth Form there is a sense of community and the shared space of the common room is a happy and inclusive place to meet at breaks and lunchtime. The Sixth Form office is centrally situated in the Sixth Form block and a member of the team is always there to provide help, guidance and support.

The Sixth Form is led by the Director of Sixth Form with a specialist Head of Advice and Guidance and a Head of Progress and Well Being looking after student welfare across Years 12 and 13.
