Hollyfield Sixth Form Open Evening: Thursday 14th November

Hollyfield Sixth Form once again proved its commitment to excellence by achieving superb A Level results. Notable successes include Daniel Hwang who achieved A*, A*, A* in Chemistry, Maths Further Maths and he will take up a place to read Chemistry at Imperial College London. Harry Sutch who achieved A*,A*,A in Philosophy, Government and Politics and History and will read Law at York University. In addition Yasmin Elkilany achieved A,A, A and has been offered a place at Kings College London to read Religion, Politics and Society. Hannah Francis also achieved A,A,A and will study Law at Nottingham University.

Other notable successes were Emily Hope with A,A,A which has enabled her to do Business Management at Birmingham University. Sarah Brown whose A*, A, B means that she will study Chemistry and Mathematics at Leeds University. Also Olivia Trimborn secured A*,A, B and she will study Liberal Arts at Nottingham University.

Once again in subjects such as Chemistry, Philosophy, Business Studies, Further Maths, Computing and Media students attained particularly well, with results that are in the top 10% of the country. In Chemistry a fantastic 36% of students achieved A-A* grades and in Business 87% of students achieved A-B grades.

Hollyfield Sixth Form Open Evening will take place on Thursday 14th November from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Hollyfield is a exciting place to study and we have a record number of students on roll studying a wide variety of A Level and BTEC courses.

We also have an exciting enrichment programme and fantastic school trips. Every week there are guest speakers, sports and other extra-curricular clubs to get involved in from sports like football and netball to others such as debating, cookery and first aid.
