Sixth Form Update

Posted by: Francesca Chester on 25-04-2019

The Year 12 and 13 students have been completing their PPE's this week and we have been really impressed with their attitude to the exams. For the Year 13 students, these PPE's will be the final mock examination before their final exams starting in May. We hope the students find them useful and are able to use any feedback following these exams, in preparation for their A Levels. These exams will give students an accurate idea of what grades they will achieve in the summer.

The Year 12's are utilising these PPE's to familiarise themselves with the A Level examination format and to apply their newly acquired knowledge within an exam. The PPE's will help to prepare the students for their end of year, Year 13 entry exams. There are some PPE's next week, however lessons resume for Year 13 students on Monday 29th April and Year 12's are also expected to lessons as normal.

On Tuesday 30th April, there is a compulsory Year 13 briefing during which important information about Student Finance and Study Leave will be shared. May we remind students and parents that the student finance application process is now open for 2019 university applicants. The deadline for making student finance applications is the end of May to ensure your financial support is organised for the start of the new academic year.
